My name is Chris Gregg. Spirit Bear is my community name. For over 40 years, I have been engaged in the musical world, in one form or another. Out of high school I studied jazz saxophone at North Texas State University. Later on, Music Composition at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and received a degree in Audio Engineering from The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences.

 

I have been involved in hundreds of musical projects since high school, including bands, performances, studio recordings, business ventures, DJ-ing, and song arrangements; even creating digital music products! During 15 years owning and operating a music store in North Carolina, I played drums, bass, and sang in several bands, launched a MIDI and Audio company and am raising 2 amazing children.

 

My main focus in music currently is providing live sound, audio engineering and DJ services for Native American Powwows, weddings, and events of all kinds.​
